The 2023 Suzuki SV650 will be available in Italy in three different hues.

One thing we can bet on is that Suzuki will revive the SV.
It’s a roller coaster ride on the stock market. The price of gas keeps fluctuating. The weather, of all things, has been erratic recently. We may take solace in the fact that Suzuki will once again provide the SV650, notwithstanding the general unpredictability of the external environment. You might say the SV is getting on in years. This perpetual nude was first published in 1999, making her legally an adult (in the States).

The Hamamatsu family is pleased to continue manufacturing SV650s in their present state. In 2017, Suzuki released the most current revision to the vehicle. Since then, in 2018, the company released the SV650X, a café racer-inspired model with a limited production run. Although new 2023 hues have been revealed in Italy, Suzuki’s North American site only shows the standard SV and its ABS cousin in 2022.

2023 Suzuki SV650 - Black Dubai

Suzuki thinks that linking its new color schemes with well-known locations like Las Vegas, London, and Dubai will increase their perceived value. The Black Dubai livery is a continuation of the 2022 Glass Sparkle Black, with the same bronze-painted trellis frame and gloss black paint base. On the other hand, Dubai Black has bronze-colored wheels as a finishing touch. The Blu Las Vegas paint job recycles the car’s structure and wheels but gives the vehicle a new coat of navy blue for the fuel tank and trunk.

Not because of its visual appeal alone, but the Gray London paint job could be the most fascinating alternative. The SV650 has been dubbed the “poor man’s Ducati Monster” by motorcycling aficionados. The Bologna company redesigned the Monster platform last year, giving it a unified gray and red color scheme. The Gray London color option on the SV650 gives the impression that Suzuki stole yet another idea from Ducati.

Nothing has changed other from the colors. The 645cc 90-degree V-twin motor still dangles from its trellis frame, which cools the engine with liquid. Although it lacks speed and new features, the SV is nonetheless user-friendly because to its 30.9-inch seat height and 432-pound curb weight. Suzuki has yet to formally announce the model in the United States, but based on the announcement in Italy, we can expect three new or updated paint treatments and a price tag that’s only a hair over the current MSRP of $7,299.
