The company’s new CEO, Klaus Zellmer, is responsible for this makeover.

Skoda has recently lifted the virtual covers off a concept car that hints to the company’s potential usage of the Volkswagen group’s MEB platform. Skoda’s future aesthetic orientation is hinted at by the Vision 7S concept, which previews a seven-seater electric crossover with a focus on spacious interiors, cutting-edge features, and adaptable layouts.

Skoda has introduced a new business logo with the debut of its futuristic Vision 7S Electric SUV Concept. By 2026, the firm aims to have launched three new all-electric models worldwide, one of which being the Vision 7S.

Skoda plans to spend €5.6 billion on e-mobility and €700 million on digitalization in the next five years. There will be a 3-seater electric car, a 5-seater electric SUV, and a 7-seater electric SUV. On first glance, the Skoda Vision 7S seems to be the electrified 7-seat SUV.

“Today is a very unique day in KODA AUTO’s history,” Klaus Zellmer, CEO of KODA AUTO, said in a press release announcing the company’s new brand identity, which includes a new logo and a refreshed corporate identity (CI). By revealing the VISION 7S concept study, we are providing a sneak peek at a future KODA vehicle aimed squarely at our most discerning clientele.

When it debuts, the Skoda Vision 7S Concept will have a range of more than 600 kilometers (WLTP cycle) and a maximum charging power of 200 kilowatts. It has the new visual language of the brand and is built on the Modular Electrification Kit (MEB) developed by the Volkswagen Group and fuelled by an 89 kWh battery. Skoda’s updated aesthetics include a redesigned front end with a so-called Tech-Deck Face and eco-friendly materials throughout the cabin.
