Electric car startup located in Pune Tork Motors finally released its electric motorbike earlier this year. Tork Kratos R is the production version of the electric motorbike, and manufacturing and delivery have begun. Tork Motors’ sales network will extend in the next months, but for the time being, they are concentrated on Pune. Tork Kratos R deliveries have already begun, with the company recently delivering 20 Kratos R bikes to a single client in a single day. Another video from Tork Motors shows how they deliver the motorbike to its customers that have chosen home delivery.
Tork Motors has posted the footage on their YouTube account. Tork has taken a rather novel approach to home delivery of the electric scooter. Many individuals who are reading this page like collecting scale miniatures of autos and motorcycles. Tork, on the other hand, was inspired by such scale models and wanted to present the motorbike in such a box. The motorbike that is ready for delivery is placed inside a box that is designed to resemble the lid of a scale model. A fiberglass part clearly reveals the motorbike on one side, and technical details are displayed on the box as well.
The motorbike also has the scale model box number 1:1 printed on it. On the box, Tork Motors branding and other information about the electric motorbike are stated. The motorbike and the box are put on a trailer that is hitched to a prior model Hyundai Creta. Tork Motors uses it to distribute autos throughout the surrounding region. The package is eye-catching and draws attention on the road. The same thing may be observed in the video. Other motorists may be seen inspecting the box out of curiosity. Someone seems to have commissioned a huge size model. It is not a scale replica in this instance, but the genuine motorbike.
Tork Motors has been developing electric motorcycles for a long time. In the video, Kapil Shelke, Founder & CEO of Tork Motors, is seen giving the motorbike to the client. The video clearly shows his pleasure at seeing his motorbike arrive like a giant size model. Tork Kratos R is India’s first electric motorbike created and produced in-house. It has a sleek, athletic design. The bike features a new trellis frame, telescopic front fork, rear monoshock, and front and rear disc brakes. It has a 4.3-inch TFT screen as well as other linked functions. Tork offers the electric motorbike in two models. Kratos and Kratos R versions are available.
A 4 kWh Li-Ion battery pack powers it. The Axial flux motor has a peak torque of 38 Nm and a power output of 9 kW. Kratos has Eco, City, and Sports riding modes, as well as a reverse gear option, as do many other electric scooters. The motorbike has a top speed of 105 kmph and a certified riding range of 180 km. Fast charging is also supported by the motorbike. Kratos costs Rs 1.92 lakh ex-showroom, while Kratos R costs Rs 2.07 lakh ex-showroom.
