Jeep introduced a Freedom Edition for the Wrangler a few years back. Jeep is back with a new Freedom package for both the Wrangler and the Gladiator as we go into a long weekend honoring America’s Independence Day on July 4. In addition, as in the past, Jeep will donate $250 to military-themed charity for each unique model sold.

The Freedom package, which is available on 2023 model year automobiles, is a cosmetic improvement that also includes a few functional components. The rear has an Oscar Mike badge and American flag decals over fender-mounted Jeep insignia. The Freedom package features body-colored fender flares, black wheels, black accents, and leather-trimmed seats with black stitching on the interior.

The Freedom option adds LED headlights and fog lights, rock rails, and a steel front bumper that is ready to accept a winch if owners want to order one. Wrangler and Gladiator Sport S trim levels are available with the Freedom package.

Jeep claims the Freedom package is only available for a short time, but it doesn’t indicate how many will be produced. The package costs $3,295 more than the Sport S, and order banks will open later in July for those interested. Barring any delays in manufacturing, Gladiators and Wranglers with the Freedom package should be available at dealerships in early November, just in time for the Veterans Day holiday in the United States.
